VeCrisps is a student startup in the YES Company Programme by Young Enterprise Switzerland. One school year, one product, real customers.

3,454,750. That is how many young people the network reaches every year.

YES is part of JA Europe. Its programmes reach students in around 40 countries, year after year.

In Switzerland the Company Programme began in 1999, with twelve mini companies.

Eight regions. One of them is ours.

From 23 January to 20 February 2027, mini companies pitch in eight regions of Switzerland. We compete in Bern.

What the Company Programme is

Students between 16 and 20 found a company, develop a product and bring it to market. For a whole school year. No simulation, no business game. Teachers come along as coaches. The decisions are ours.

The YES Company Programme in brief

What is the YES Company Programme?
A programme by Young Enterprise Switzerland (YES), a non-profit organisation. Students between 16 and 20 found their own mini company during one school year, develop a product and sell it. It has run in Switzerland since 1999.
What does VeCrisps do in the YES programme?
We are a student startup from Bern, founded on 3 July 2026. We make beetroot crisps and carrot crisps: vegetables from the farm in Iffwil, vacuum-fried and packed in Siselen.
How does the year run?
After the founding come the opening event, the first sales and, at the end of January, the pitch competition. The 25 best mini companies in Switzerland exhibit at the national trade fair at Zurich main station in March.
